Why do we need a HyperImage Project?

Today, spectral imaging systems have proven their performance in different applications and have been evaluated on lab level. However, spectral imaging systems have limited availability, require highly skilled personnel(especially for data analysis), lack integration to machines and exhibit high cost limiting a wider penetration of the technology to more applications. The HyperImage project aims to resolve these challenges by developing a universal, fast, modular and cost-effective spectral image sensing technology platform suitable for both short- and long-range imaging applications.

Why does DIVE participate in the HyperImage project?

DIVE’s technology is targeting the semiconductor manufacturing and up- and downstream industries. The HyperImage project enables a broader usage of spectral imaging system technology. The increased industry acceptance is beneficial to all participants in the project. Further, DIVE’s VEsolve software is the basis for the development of a universal data handling platform across all industry use cases.
